Baptism
Baptism is God's most beautiful and magnificent gift. . . .We call it gift, grace, anointing, enlightenment, garment of immortality, bath of rebirth, seal, and most precious gift. It is called gift because it is conferred on those who bring nothing of their own; grace since it is given even to the guilty; Baptism because sin is buried in the water; anointing for it is priestly and royal as are those who are anointed; enlightenment because it radiates light; clothing since it veils our shame; bath because it washes; and seal as it is our guard and the sign of God's Lordship.

BAPTISM PREPARATION
Parents and godparents will prepare for baptism using the "Belonging: Baptism in the Family of God" study with Fr Mike Schmitz. Access to the study will be provided once the Baptism Information Form is completed and returned to the parish office.
BAPTISM CLASSES
Baptism classes prepare parents and godparents to understand their roles and responsibilities in raising their child in the Catholic faith. During Covid restrictions baptism classes will be offered using Zoom. Contact the office at 343-4248 for information about baptism classes.
BAPTISM CELEBRATIONS
Due to Covid restrictions, all Masses and Sacraments are taking place outside. Baptism will be celebrated during daily 8:30AM Mass Tuesday through Friday. Baptism will be scheduled following parents and godparents completion of their baptism class.
